Job description
We’re looking for an experienced Carpenter to assist on a 2-week residential renovation
project in East Lindfield. This short-term role is ideal for someone skilled in ceiling work,
framing, and working within brick/masonry homes.
About the Role:
You’ll be working on a high-quality renovation project, focused primarily on ceiling and
structural framing tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install drop ceilings, including framing, levelling, and fixing ceiling battens
• Run ceiling joists to suit a new ceiling layout
• Construct coffered ceilings as architectural features
• Bolt plates and ensure structural stability
What We’re Looking For:
• Proven experience in carpentry, particularly in existing homes with brick or
masonry construction
• Strong skills in ceiling framing and detailed finish work
• Ability to work from construction plans with accuracy
• Reliable, self-motivated, and professional attitude
• Able to communicate effectively with site supervisors and clients if required
• Work with full masonry walls using appropriate fixings and methods
