government maintenance and construction projects across the Newcastle and

This is a great opportunity suited to a Skilled Labourer or General Labourer with a
solid work ethic and ideally a background in carpentry. If you take pride in doingthings properly and want to be part of a steady, respectful crew, this could be a
great fit.
Your New Role
As a Skilled or General Labourer, your day-to-day responsibilities will vary
depending on the project, but may include:
• Assisting carpenters and other trades on-site
• Performing general labouring duties such as site clean-up and material handling
• Supporting minor carpentry tasks (if experienced)
• Working safely in live or public environments (schools, public buildings)
• Following instructions and WHS protocols at all times
• Keeping the site tidy, safe, and running smoothly
To Be Successful, You Will Have:
• A White Card (Construction Induction)
• Carpentry or construction background preferred
• Strong work ethic and a can-do attitude
• Ability to take direction and work well in a team
• Reliable transport to get to site
• Respectful and professional approach, especially when working in sensitive
environments
